Jimi Hardin

Lead Vocalist

Jimi Hardin bought his first set of drums at age 18 and taught himself how to play. In the forty years that have passed, Jimi’s music career as a drummer and vocalist has been filled with shows and performances with some of the greatest and best in the industry, including long-standing Jamie’s Rock and Roll Legends, showcasing tribute shows for artists Ray Charles, Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Richie Valens and Kenny Rogers at casinos and festivals.

The lifelong performer has also played with Ozzy Osbourne tribute band, Crazy Train, who opened up for Blue Oyster Cult, and has backed Bobby Kimball, lead singer of the band Toto.

Currently, he is the drummer for the iconic blues group, THE NORMAN SYLVESTER BAND, whose leader, Norman, was inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame in 2011. He also holds the drum chair in the Anni Piper Blues Band. Anni is currently the president of the Cascade Blues Association.

He also sings at the senior care centers covering artists like Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, and Sammy Davis Jr., and sings in his own tribute show to Lou Rawls.

Hardin says he’s saved the best for last, Jimi Hardin Motown Soul, where Jimi is artistic director, band leader and head groover of Motown hits and soul music.
